About Sophia Chung

Hello! I'm Sophia Chung, an Taiwanese-American voice actor, cosplayer, and software engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, California and willing to travel! If you're looking for the right someone to explain the technical details of your product, understand the medical terminology, or become anyone or any thing in an audio drama, animation or videogame, you've come to the right place! I'm an engineer by day, and a voice actor by mic.My parents have this story: when I was but a wee babe, out and about during a family trip to Disneyworld, I just would not stop repeating the phrases that people said. While waiting in line for a ride (it was probably It's A Small World, though the truth is lost to time), a person in line turned to my parents and said, "Your daughter has a great voice! She needs to protect that in the future!". And here I am now, pursuing voice acting as a career during my adulthood. Who knows? Maybe they predicted this path all along.I've taken many acting and voice acting classes through schools and studios such as Voice One, Red Scythe Studios, RealVoiceLA, the Berkeley Repertory Theater, and more, as well as trained with many professional voice acting and voiceover coaches, so I'm prepared for whatever will be thrown at me.In my spare time, I like cosplaying and recreating costumes from anime or videogames, reading and playing said manga/videogames, playing DnD or Pathfinder, and experiencing new experiences.Everyone has a story, and everyone deserves to tell that story. From warm and sweet, to brash and sassy, to even monstrous growling, I will bring everything you can think of to life. Never let your script be silenced.Let's work together!
